Ellen Q., Director

Hi! My name is Ellen. I’m currently the director of our Jeffersonville location. I have been with Kids Care Academy since the summer of 2012 and have loved every minute of it! I graduated from Ivy Tech with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood and also hold a Bachelor’s degree from IUS. I hope to continue my education and obtain a Master’s Degree in Education. I have several years of experience working with children in various settings, including my church nursery and one-on-one care with children with learning disabilities. Working with children has been my lifelong dream, and I love the chance to make a difference in each child’s life here at Kids Care Academy!
Emily T., Assistant Director

I’m Emily, the Assistant Director at the Jeffersonville location. I have been with Kids Care Academy since the beginning of 2014 when I was hired as a Lead Teacher in a two-year-old class. I soon fell in love with Kids Care Academy and decided to work towards a management position so I could help new teachers and staff offer the best possible care and education to our children. I have eleven years of experience teaching young children. My background includes directing children’s ministries at a local church and previously working at another licensed center. I’m currently pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and then plan to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree. My husband Aaron and I have been married for seven years and do not yet have children of our own. We both enjoy volunteering at our church, spending time with family, and hiking at Clifty Falls. I also enjoy scrapbooking and treasure hunting at thrift stores.
Most weekends we can be found browsing local farmers’ markets, hiking, or spending time with our adorable niece, Penny. I’m so thankful that Kids Care Academy has allowed me the opportunities to grow and follow my dreams!
Jessica H., Supervisor

Hi, my name is Jessica. I’m a supervisor at the Jeffersonville location. I’ve been with Kids Care Academy since 2012. I started as the preschool teacher and then worked my way up to supervisor. I currently have a Child Development Associate and have over eleven years of childcare experience. I love working with children because of their eagerness to learn and their desire to explore new things. I believe children are rewarding in many ways, but also challenging at times. It is the impact and influence of children that motivates me to continue doing what I love! I am so thankful that Kids Care Academy allows me to follow my passions!
